June 24, 2011- Robin

  "Hey? Are you pregnant?" Violet asked casually, lying in my bed on her stomach with her feet in the air, thumbing through the same magazine for about the third time.
  "What?!" I shouted, nearly falling out of my swivel chair as I turned to face her.
  "I me, come on, it's a fairly simple question. I know you had sex with that Bret guy and you haven't talked about it since. I just figured you must be ashamed of something." At this she looked up, " But, of course you are, you had sex with Bret. That's shame enough." she added with a grin.
  I could feel the anger boiling inside of me, but I kept my cool. "You, of all people, should know me well enough to assume that I will not be planning on dishin' out a kid for at least another ten years. We are only fourteen, last time i checked. I have to finish high school, get accepted to Duke, become a vet, I have my whole life to live before I even start thinking about that."
  "Well, some one has clearly over-analyzed this." Violet said flipping onto her side, rolling her eyes and taking a swig of A&W before setting her can back onto my desk.
  "Oh, Puh-lease" I scoffed, " like you've never made any plans.
  Violet shrugged.
  "You? The person who made a map of the mall before we even left my house? You know, in the nine years that I've known you I don't think I've seen you do one spur-of-the-moment."
  "I do have a plan," she said after a moment of thought, "I want to go to NYU and be a Broadway star, even though I've never acted in my life, not to mention I'm a horrible liar."
  I 'hmphed' and turned back to my deviantART page hoping to avoid any other questioning.
